Reigning Grace Counseling Center is also a training center for those desiring to learn how to counsel and disciple others in both a church setting or a para-church organization.
Our training classes are taught by counselors who are certified with the National Association of Biblical Counselors, the International Association of Biblical Counselors, or both!
Biblical counseling is discipleship - intensive one-to-one discipleship and we have developed an extensive curriculum that will thoroughly equip any student looking for instruction in how to counsel and disciple others biblically.
We offer several methods for training.
Our Intensive Training Program offers the students an intensive 3 day learning experience. We bring our training program to your venue and will spend 3 days in lecture, discussion and case studies. Ideal for the church that is interested in exposing the congregation to the basics of biblical counseling as a foundation.
Our Seminar Style Program offers full time workers to take the classes in a manageable time frame. Attending classes one weekend per month and reading the required material in the off weeks leaves the student plenty of time for "normal" life while still training for a future in ministry.
Our Track Training Program (begins January, 2011) features classes that meet one evening per week for six weeks (per Track) of intensive training in biblical counseling and discipleship. For those students able to travel to the Kansas City Missouri area who want the live classroom experience, this is ideal. See the sidebar for more details!
Our On-line Program (soon to be launched) will allow students to access our training via internet download or webinar! Our training program is outlined below and approved by the International Association of Biblical Counselors for certification in their organization. Julie is the State Coordinator for the IABC and will assist you in securing your certification.
Please go to our Calendar and Events page for the schedule of our training classes.

TRACK 6 BEGINS FEBRUARY 20, 2012!
Our counseling Track Training Program allows our students to complete their training in a classroom format over the course of two years.
We fully prepare our students for a role in a Biblical Counseling/ Discipleship ministry through our lectures, comprehensive notes and diagrams, and a thorough required reading list of books written by the finest Biblical Counselors of our time.
The Case Study component presents real life counseling situations for immediate practical application of the lessons on a weekly basis!
Each Track is only $ 60.00 ($10.00 per credit hour, plus books for guided reading assignments), which is much more affordable than traditional college level programs.
Our Track Program will help the man or woman interested in being thoroughly equipped for a lay-counseling or discipleship ministry as well as the pastor or missionary who desires to help the people he or she serves at home or abroad.
