Each member of our counseling staff is a ministering servant in their church as a Biblical Counselors and Discipler as well as in the community at large in various capacities.

Our counseling team has vast experience in helping hurting souls navigate difficult waters in the areas of addictions and the resulting anger, bitterness, marital, communication and family issues that affect more than the substance abuser. We find that their family members experience fear and anxiety, in addition to many other issues.

We are equipped to address the most troublesome areas of life such as depression, worry, anger, family and relationship issues through the ministry and application of God's Word to the heart.

Over the past five years, we have developed a counselor training program and discipleship ministry for use within the local church. Members of our counseling team have taught Biblical Counseling in the United States as well as abroad. Currently, this program is taught and in use at Faith Community Church.

We have taken this training overseas and within the United States, and trained hundreds of lay people and pastors in Biblical counseling and discipleship.

Our program equips people who have a burden for one-to-one discipleship and mentoring and also focuses on personal growth and change.

Larry Ganschow

	For the past 22 years, Larry Ganschow was known to the drug and alcohol treatment community in Wisconsin as a person of integrity and as one who provides superior counseling and treatment to those struggling with drug and alcohol related issues. In 2008, he brought his skill and expertise to the Kansas City area. He has provided services to a portion of the incarcerated population in Missouri, and with those in a long-term, intensive alternative to incarceration program in conjunction with the court system. Larry has extensive experience in both in-patient and out-patient counseling services. He completed all the necessary NANC and IABC training for certification with both organizations. Julie Ganschow

Counselor Julie Ganschow has been counseling and discipling women for over a decade. As a women's Bible study leader and teacher she found that many women were looking for biblical and practical information on how to address the issues of life. This was a natural segue into women's discipleship and counseling. Her extensive training has led to certification with the National Association of Biblical Counselors (NANC), the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC), and International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC). Julie is the Missouri State Coordinator and Mentor for those desiring certification in the IABC. Julie is the author of many counseling related materials for counselors and those pursuing education in Biblical Counseling. She currently in pursuit of her Masters in Biblical Counseling while continuing to teach, train, and disciple others. Stephen Ganschow

	Stephen is a NANC Certified, Biblical Counselor, as well as a graduate of the Bachelor of Biblical Counseling Program at Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary, and an IABC, ABC Certified Biblical Counselor. Stephen brings the experience of working with the homeless population of Kansas City, who are often without hope, need encouragement, struggle with depression, and suffer with drug and alcohol abuse.
